Atkinson, William Edward, 25 Jan 1912, aged 36, Incline Man, his duty was to couple the full trucks together as they were delivered to him and then to steady the train to the weigh machine; he had not completed his train but was still engaged in coupling, when he was seen to fall down, when about a yard from any truck; he was found to be unconscious and died almost immediately; the doctor stated at the inquest that several ribs were fractured and driven into his lungs, but the cause of the injuries could not be ascertained
